C is for...

Cherry blossom!

Korea does not boast the amazing cherry blossom that can be seen in Japan, but it doesn't do too badly either.  Every April (in fact March - May), hoards of people swarm to the locations known for blossoms.  I really wanted to go out of Seoul to some of the more southerly and rural cities to see the blossoms, they are supposed to be beautiful in places (I think it was Jinhae that was supposed to be great).  Alas, I only made it to the Hangang River Park by Yeouido.  Take a look at this site to see what the Official site of Korea Tourism recommends this year.

Unfortunately, all those people had the same idea of getting the subway home....
